The Thursday, June 11, Classic Car Show festivities planned for Toledo Speedway, have been cancelled. The show will take place next Thursday at the regularly scheduled time.

Sunday, June 14 is the 22^nd annual "Barn" Show, held at the Wilson Barn in Livonia at the corner of Middlebelt and W. Chicago.  Music, food, a swap meet and more is all part of the weekend.

Flat Rock, MI (6-6-09)--  Second-generation driver Billy Earley jumped behind the wheel of Rob Martel’s car after his ride encountered engine trouble, and piloted the machine to the win in the 50 lap ARCA Figure 8 feature event Saturday night at Flat Rock Speedway.  Tim Moore, James Rae and Brad Turner also scored wins on Allen Chevrolet/Cadillac Family Night/Racing Fan Club Night at the track.  Tom Allen presented trophies to the winners.

TOLEDO, OH: (6-5-09): 5-time track champion Ron Allen reversed roles with Terry Jones Friday night at Toledo Speedway, taking the lead on lap 18 on the way to victory in the 35 lap ARCA Sportsman feature on Wendy's Family Fun and Autograph Night. Robbie Loving, Eric Huston and Ramon Ortiz also visited the Glass Bowl Lanes Winner's Circle and were greeted by Wendy for the trophy presentation. ...

TOLEDO, OH: (5-28-09): Two of the top short track open-wheel shows in the Midwest will take place at Toledo Speedway in the coming weeks. Friday, June 12 is the All American Coach/Qualite Sports Lighting "Fastest Short Track Show in the World", featuring the ISMA Super Modifieds and Auto Value Super Sprints (AVSS) and Friday, July 3 is the date for the USAC doubleheader, with the Sprints and Midgets, sponsored by Hemelgarn Racing and Super Fitness. FLAT ROCK, MI: (6-3-09): Flat Rock Speedway's biggest Late Model race of the season, the Moran Chevrolet/Stan Yee Memorial 150, is set for Saturday evening, June 27 at the ¼ mile paved oval. The event will pay $2500 to win and $500 to start the contest, with drivers from Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Canada expected. The track's Figure 8 and Street Stock classes will also be in competition as support divisions. ...

1990-VANDERLAAN WINNER IN ROUND 1 OF ROUMELL 900 SERIES

Toledo Speedway held the first leg of the Chuck Roumell 900 Series, thus named based on the previous year's champion. Over 30 late models entered the 100-lap season opener, making for a strong field and a competitive event.

TOLEDO, OH: (5-29-09): Amherst, Ontario Canada driver Terry Jones withstood a 20 lap battle with Ron Allen to win Friday night's Valvoline Instant Oil Change-sponsored ARCA Sportsman feature at Toledo Speedway. Landon Schuster, Mike Hammer and Matt Brazeau also posted wins in front of a good size group of kids on Scout Night. Eric Crompton of Valvoline and many of the guests of the company presented the trophies to the winners in the Glass Bowl Lanes Winners Circle. ...
