Kyle Busch to Race at Toledo August 14 in CRA 100
RACE MOVED FROM ORIGINAL JULY 31 DATE
TOLEDO, OH: (7-9-09): Toledo Speedway officials have announced that NASCAR STAR KYLE BUSCH will compete in the CRA Super Series Late Model 100 Friday evening, August 14. The CRA race, originally scheduled for July 31, is being moved to the August 14 date.
Busch, one of the top stars in all 3 of NASCAR'S major circuits, has been a frequent competitor with the CRA Super Series Late Models this season. Busch, already in the area for the Michigan International Speedway (MIS) race weekend, will make his way 60 miles south to Toledo Friday, August 14 after his duties at the wheel of the #18 Joe Gibbs Racing machine are completed at MIS.

Santa's Sleigh Full of Prizes for Toledo Friday Night; Fireworks and Racing Set for Sat at Flat Rock
TOLEDO, OH AND FLAT ROCK, MI: (7-8-09): It's warm, the temperatures are on the rise and Santa Claus has been very, very busy filling his sleigh with prizes for Friday night's Christmas in July prize giveaway at Toledo Speedway. And Saturday night, July 11 Santa and his elves will kick back and relax at Flat Rock Speedway when the Triple 50's and FIREWORKS show goes off. Kids 14 and under will be admitted FREE at Flat Rock this Saturday!

...Maran Wins Great Flat Rock Enduro 250
FLAT ROCK, MI: (7-4-09): Jeff Maran took advantage of a blocked track at lap 209 after a sensational battle with Dave Arnold Jr. for over 100 laps and sped to victory and the $1000 payday in Saturday night's 250 lap Enduro race at Flat Rock Speedway. Eric Hoffman captured the MCR Dwarf Car feature, Brad Turner took the ARCA 4 Cylinder main and Steve Matusiewicz won the Figure 8 Boat race as the track celebrated the 4th of July holiday.

TOLEDO, OH: (7-3-09): Perfect weather conditions greeted a good crowd that gathered for the return of the USAC National Sprint and Midget tours to Toledo Speedway Friday evening. Ron Hemelgarn, the 1996 Indy 500 winning car owner and a local area businessman, spoke to the crowd in pre-race ceremonies. The race card was sponsored by Hemelgarn Racing and Super Fitness. Bobby Santos III and Bobby East picked up the feature wins. Jim Young, who set fast time in the very first race at Toledo 50 years ago in 1960, sang the national anthem and received a rousing ovation from the fans. Complete Results

It has been six years since there have been over 40 super late models at Flat Rock Speedway, but 42 made their way to the track for the Stan Yee Memorial race, which was part of the Hantz Group (presented by Allegiant Air) Gold Cup series. For the last four years the Gold Cup races have been at held Toledo ... the last one run at Flat Rock was in 2005.
