Santa's Sleigh Full of Prizes for Toledo Friday Night; Fireworks and Racing Set for Sat at Flat Rock
TOLEDO, OH AND FLAT ROCK, MI: (7-8-09): It's warm, the temperatures are on the rise and Santa Claus has been very, very busy filling his sleigh with prizes for Friday night's Christmas in July prize giveaway at Toledo Speedway. And Saturday night, July 11 Santa and his elves will kick back and relax at Flat Rock Speedway when the Triple 50's and FIREWORKS show goes off. Kids 14 and under will be admitted FREE at Flat Rock this Saturday!
Toledo's annual Christmas in July celebration is taking shape very quickly, as prizes from speedway sponsors and fans continue to pour in daily! Everyone that enters the track this Friday will register for the drawing once inside the track gates. There will be a Children's drawing and an adult drawing for the prizes, which include bicycles, gift packs, dolls, die-cast cars, Harry Potter book set and the like for kids. The adult prizes include 2 round-trip tickets from Toledo to Florida, courtesy of Allegiant Air, gift cards, Marco's Pizzas, a 1 year subscription to Mid-American Auto Racing News and much, much more!Santa Claus will be at the track to dole out the prizes to lucky race fans Friday night. The reindeer have declined to attend.
The 4 division program at Toledo for this Friday, July 10 features the ARCA Sportsman on the ½ mile, with the "Motor City Madmen" ARCA Figure 8's, Speedway Tire and Auto Factory Stocks and the 4 Cylinders also in action. Adult tickets are just $10 each, kids 6-14 are $3 and under 6 are free. All tickets are general admission and go on sale at 5 p.m. Friday night, with racing at 7:30 p.m. The evening is sponsored by Velvet Ice Cream and Lakeshore Utility Trailer Sales.
This Saturday, July 11 Flat Rock Speedway presents its annual Miller Lite Triple 50's and Fireworks show! And to add to the night, kids up to age 14 will be admitted FREE! The ARCA Moran Chevrolet/Miller Lite Late Models, Figure 8's and Street Stocks will all compete in 50 lap main events, with a 25 lap Street Stock B Main also on tap. The 28th Annual famous Flat Rock Speedway Volcano Fireworks Company fireworks display will close out the evening. ALL tickets are general admission and will go on sale at 3:30 Saturday afternoon. Racing begins at 7 p.m.
