TOLEDO, OH:  The New Glass Bowl Lanes hosted the Flat Rock/Toledo Speedway bowling tournament Sunday afternoon.  The group of about 25 bowlers took part in the 9-Pin No Tap tournament being held at the Glass Bowl, which serves as the sponsor of Toledo's Winner's Circle.  Owner Ron Gorney also furnishes the tour bus for the track during the summer months.

Joy Fair made it two for two, taking the 50-lap ARCA Late Model feature Sunday night at Toledo Speedway on the heels of a win in the 50-lapper Saturday night at Flat Rock Speedway. Joe Ruttman led the Toledo main event from the onset and paced the first 23 tours around the half mile oval until Fair took the point.

Toledo, OH (Friday, October 2nd, 2009) 9:45 am-- The forecast is looking better as we get ready to open the pit gates at 1 p.m. Friday.  It is raining now, but the Toledo TV stations are looking for the rain to move out by mid-afternoon today.  Saturday’s updated forecast is for cloudy skies, high of 60 degrees.

 

The Plan is to move forward, and hopefully we can get practice in tonight, scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Everything else is going as planned at this point.

TOLEDO, OH: (1-27-10): Toledo Speedway management has made a schedule change for the upcoming season, moving the ARCA Sportsman division's biggest race of the season to Friday, July 30 and signing the CRA Sportsman class for the October 2 Glass City 200 weekend as the companion event. The track's Sportsman cars will be legal to run with the CRA group for the final event of the season at the half-mile paved oval.

TOLEDO OH (3-25-10) - Flat Rock and Toledo Speedway management will once again have a 4 Cylinder race car rental program in place for the upcoming 2010 season. 

The car will also be made available for 10 lap practice runs during the scheduled practice sessions at both tracks for just $50 per 10 lap run.

The practice session dates are Sunday, April 18, Wednesday April 21 at Flat Rock; and Sunday, April 25 at Toledo.
