Toledo Speedway

On New Year's Day, Steve Chartrand and his father, Jim, took their Street Stock to Sandusky Speedway's annual Hangover race. Steve competed in the Champagne class with Late Models and Sportsman cars and took the feature win! (See photo). Congratulations, Steve!

By the way, the water was 2 ½ feet deep at Flat Rock in the infield when the snow melted!  But, the warm weather allowed us to pump out the water.....so we're ready until the next snow.......

At Toledo, you could not see the walls...at all....

Saturday, March 14:  Racer's Reunion at Toledo Speedway Bar and Grille;  Noon to 5.  Free admission, everyone is invited!  Bring your photos, programs, whatever you have collected over the years!  If you raced around this area, there's probably a photo of you here at the Reunion!

Saturday, March 14:  Michigan Auto Racing Fan Club Meeting right after the Reunion, 6:30 p.m.  Spend the day, eat dinner at the Bar/Grille, attend and support the Fan Club and our own Bill Barnhart, President of the MARFC!  Free admission, everyone is invited!

Sunday, March 15:  Bowling Tournament at New Glass Bowl Lanes, Telegraph Road, 2 miles from Toledo Speedway, 1:30 p.m.  More details soon!  We've heard all the bowling stories from racers and officials.....Cash prizes and more!  Beat Gary Lindahl and win a prize.
