The 21st running of Glass City 200 is Saturday evening, October 3. Cost is just $10 per lap and goes to the drivers. PA announcements on race night, listing in souvenir program and on website included.

Condolences to Flat Rock Speedway ARCA Street Stock driver Terry Humphrey and family on the death of his wife, Sheryl Ann. Sheryl Humphrey had battled cancer and died August 9 at the age of 52.

TOLEDO, OH (8-7-09)-- Trent Stephens, Zach Gibson, Landon Schuster and John Rabideau were the winners on Western Lake Erie Insulation Industry Night Friday at Toledo Speedway. Threatening weather stalled the show for a period of time, but track personnel and the race teams worked together to complete the racing card.

Grillers Select BBQ Sauce to Sponsor Flat Rock School Bus Race Sept. 12
FLAT ROCK, MI: (8-6-09): Flat Rock Speedway officials have announced that Grillers Select BBQ Sauce will sponsor the track's School Bus Figure 8 race, set for Saturday evening, September 12. The made-in-Michigan product will also be available for purchase at the track's concession stands for the remainder of the 2009 season.

Joy Fair made it two for two, taking the 50-lap ARCA Late Model feature Sunday night at Toledo Speedway on the heels of a win in the 50-lapper Saturday night at Flat Rock Speedway. Joe Ruttman led the Toledo main event from the onset and paced the first 23 tours around the half mile oval until Fair took the point.

Kyle Busch set to Race, Sign Autographs August 14 at Toledo
TOLEDO, OH: (8-5-09): NASCAR star Kyle Busch, already set to compete in the Allen Chevrolet Cadillac/Crown RV and Boat Cleaner 100 at Toledo Speedway Friday, August 14, will also sign autographs at the Glass City oval. Busch will race in the CRA Super Series Late Model 100 lap contest on the ½ mile paved oval.
