TOLEDO, OH: (8-5-09): NASCAR star Kyle Busch, already set to compete in the Allen Chevrolet Cadillac/Crown RV and Boat Cleaner 100 at Toledo Speedway Friday, August 14, will also sign autographs at the Glass City oval. Busch will race in the CRA Super Series Late Model 100 lap contest on the ½ mile paved oval.

With both the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series in the area for their events at Michigan International Speedway (MIS), the Toledo event fits right into Busch's racing schedule for the weekend.  The CRA Super Series will make their annual stop at Toledo Friday night, August 14 for the 100 lap feature event.  Busch will make his way to the track after his duties at MIS Friday afternoon.

The autograph session will take place after the CRA qualifying session, which is set to begin at 6 p.m.  Busch will sign autographs for 1 hour at his souvenir trailer, which will be located in the spectator concourse inside the track gates.  The entire plan hinges upon his completion of duties with his NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide teams at MIS Friday afternoon.

The track's ARCA Sportsman, Factory Stocks and 4 Cylinder classes will also be on the August 14 race card.  The Sportsman and 4 Cylinders will run features only on this date.  The track will also host a Racer's Reunion for former racers at Toledo as part of the 50^th Anniversary celebration of the speedway.

The pit area will open at 1:30 for the CRA teams and 3:30 for the Toledo classes.  CRA practice is slated from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., followed by Toledo practice.  Time trials are set for 6 p.m. and racing begins at 7:30 p.m.

Due to the high volume of inquiries regarding Busch's Toledo appearance, track management has decided to open the ticket office at 3 p.m. on race day.  The front gates will open at 3:30 p.m.  All tickets are general admission and will be sold on a walk-up basis.  The track phone number is 419-727-1100.  Toledo Speedway is located on the Michigan-Ohio border at the I-75/Alexis Road exit on Benore Road.
