Wendy's Family Night and Autograph Night

A reminder to the Sportsman, Figure 8, Factory Stock, and 4 Cylinders regarding Autograph Night this Friday: Qualifying will start at 6:15 SHARP. All other times remain the same.

Pits: 3:30 p.m.; Practice: 5; Time trials: 6:15; Autograph session: 7; Racing: 7:30.

Fasten Right Roofing Family Night - NOTE TIME CHANGES

In an effort to save everyone a little time, we will open 30 minutes later on Saturday, June 5. PLEASE BE SURE TO SHARE THIS WITH EVERYONE.

Pits: 2:30 p.m.; Practice: 4; Time trials: 5:30; Racing: 7.

In the driver's meeting this week, we will discuss changing our pit and practice times for the remainder of the season. You will still receive the same amount of prep and practice time prior to qualifying.

(TOLEDO, Ohio - May 28, 2010) - Great weather brought out a big crowd to Toledo Speedway Friday evening for the Burge Wrecking Night of Destruction.  Dave Arnold Sr., in his first action in a bus, took the win in the wreck-filled School Bus Figure 8 main event.

(5-28-10) - Ricky Kargel missed opening night but made his first race of the year count by taking the victory. It is his, third career win in the Super Late Models. "It was a good race. I want to thank my family and crew and sponsors for all the help," said the driver of the #18. ...

TOLEDO, Ohio - May 26, 2010) - Toledo Speedway's annual All American Coach/Qualite Sports Lighting "Fastest Short Track Show in the World" featuring the open-wheel doubleheader of the Midwest Super Modified (MSA)Oswego Winged Challenge Series and the Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper (AVBBSS) Super Sprint Cars is set for Friday, June 11. 

The event marks the initial Toledo appearance of the combined MSA/Oswego Super Modified group, although many of the drivers have competed at Toledo in the past at the ISMA and MSA events held at the speedway.

TOLEDO, Ohio - May 25, 2010) - Race number 2 and 3 for the ARCA Allegiant Air Late Model Gold Cup Series are just weeks away, with Toledo Speedway the site of a 75 lap contest Friday, June 18 and Flat Rock Speedway hosting the prestigious Moran Chevrolet Stan Yee Memorial 150 Saturday, June 26.  The Gold Cup Series consists of 5 events between the 2 tracks.  ...

Flat Rock and Toledo Speedway have rescheduled a variety of promotions and the Buckeye 305 Sprint Car race that was lost to rain May 21.  The dates are as follows:

TOLEDO SPEEDWAY 

Kid's Night:  reset for Friday, June 18.  All kids to age 14 are admitted FREE and receive FREE hot dog, chips and drink, courtesy of Dr. Pepper/Snapple Group, Bar S Foods, Sherwood Foods and Seyfert's Chips.

Buckeye 305 Sprint Cars:  reset for Friday, August 6.  They will join the ARCA Sportsman, Figure 8's and Factory Stocks for a big 4 division race card. 

Racer's Reunions:  reset for Friday, August 27 at Toledo AND Saturday, August 28 at Flat Rock Speedway.    ...

(FLAT ROCK, Mich. - May 22, 2010) - Mother Nature finally relented on the rain-makers of the past several weeks to allow Flat Rock Speedway's UAW Local 3000/Glass Unlimited Scout and Autograph Night to take place.  Race fans were treated to a host of goodies compliments of Flat Rock's ARCA Moran Chevrolet Late Model, DTS Drive Train Specialist Street Stocks and the ARCA Figure 8 race teams. ...

Toledo Speedway, Thursday May 20, 2010
Nearly 100 classic cars were on hand for the weekly Placers Car Club Cruise-In held on the race track at Toledo Speedway. The weekly shows are sponsored by Toledo Speedway and the Toledo Speedway Bar & Grill.

The Toledo Speedway ¼ mile track is loaded with car owners, spectators and classic cars Thursday night.

Judy Nemire (below) and Jim Antagliata were among the attendees enjoying the show.

The next Placers Car Club Cruise-In at Toledo Speedway is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 27.

(TOLEDO, Ohio - May 21, 2010) - An all-morning rain and the forecast for more of the same later in the day has cancelled Friday's racing card at Toledo Speedway.  The Qualite Sports Lighting Kid's Night promotion and the Buckeye 305 Sprint Cars will be rescheduled at a later date.  Those dates should be known by the end of next week.

Toledo's Menards 200 presented by Federated Car Care weekend for the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards is still on schedule as planned for Saturday and Sunday, May 22-23.

(TOLEDO, Ohio - 5-18-10) - Quik Quiz,   Vol 1.   N0. 5.   1.}  Who won the 1975 Double O championship at Mt Clemons, then retired as a driver to work at the track? ...

The I-275 exit at Will Carleton Road (exit 8) will be closed this week, according to MDOT officials.  This is the most direct exit to reach Flat Rock Speedway from I-275.

Carleton Rockwood Road (exit 5) is open, but the road is closed for a bridge replacement east of the freeway, which means no direct access to Telegraph Road.

Fans and race teams coming from the north that use I-275 should exit at Sibley Road and go west to Telegraph, then south on Telegraph to the speedway.
