"American Graffiti" Tour with Cindy Williams and Paul LeMat

 Toledo Speedway August 19 for Placer's Club Event

TOLEDO, OH  (8-6-10) --  The weekly Thursday night Placer's Car Club Classic Car Show at Toledo Speedway will host the "American Graffiti" Tour Thursday, August 19.  The tour will include the appearance of Cindy Williams and Paul LeMat, both of whom starred in the 1973 film. 

Williams gained additional fame for her role in the television shows "Happy Days" and "LaVerne and Shirley".
 
The 1932 Ford Coupe and the 1955 black Chevy that were used in the movie will also be at the track as part of the tour.
 
The Placer's Car Club, in existence for over 50 years, is expecting a huge turnout of classic cars for the August 19 date.  The show will be extended 1 hour for this event, which will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. 
 
The car club will have live entertainment at its Thursday, August 12 show featuring Jerry Connelly, who portrays Buddy Holly and Roy Orbison.  The August 12 event show time is 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
