(TOLEDO, Ohio - November 24, 2010) -  Saturday, March 12 is the date for the 2011 edition of the Racer's Reunion at the Toledo Speedway banquet room.  The annual event takes place during the day and is followed by the monthly meeting of the Michigan Auto Racing Fan Club (MARFC). The date will also serve as a registration day for ARCA memberships, pad rentals and ticket sales for both Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways.  Admission for the entire day is free of charge.

Over 1,500 participants mounted up on nearly 1,000 motorcycles on Sunday, Nov. 7 to benefit the Harbor Behavioral Healthcare facilities in Toledo. Bikers brought forth toys for kids and cash donations totaling over $15,000 at the 21st annual event. Toledo Mayor Mike Bell and Lucas County Sheriff deputies on bikes led the procession, which departed from Toledo Speedway and traversed I-75, I-280 and downtown Toledo. In all, some 2,600 participants and spectators took part in the function, which ended its round trip at the Toledo Speedway Bar & Grill, where bikers enjoyed food provided by Gladieaux Catering and music provided by Josh Boyd. Event organizer Mike Wenzel of Toledo announced the Toy Run to benefit Harbor would again be held on the first Sunday of November in 2011 (the 6th) departing from Toledo Speedway, so mark your calendars now.

(TOLEDO, Ohio - November 15, 2010) - While winter may be just around the corner, the 2011 racing season is on the minds of many when it comes to Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways. The two ARCA-sanctioned short tracks have firmed up their opening nights for the upcoming season. Flat Rock begins its 59th consecutive season of racing Saturday, April 30, while Toledo Speedway's 52nd season starts Friday, May 6.

(SOUTHGATE, Mich. - November 8, 2010) - Race teams, officials, family and friends met Friday evening for the annual Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways banquet, held at the elegant Crystal Gardens Banquet Center in Southgate, MI.  The evening was hosted by track announcer Gary Lindahl.  All the track champions received their championship jackets as ARCA President Ron Drager led the toast to the champions.

(TOLEDO, Ohio - October 14, 2010) - Saturday's Rollie Beale 150 at Toledo Speedway serves as the season finale for the USAC Silver Crown Series, and in a fitting tie at the home track of the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards, will also feature several drivers with ARCA experience. This week, Brian Tyler and A.J. Fike (No. 3 RFMS-Liberty Village Beast Foxco) spoke optimistically about one of the series' most dominant storylines.

(TOLEDO, Ohio - October 12, 2010) - Bryan Clauson, who won an ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards race at Gateway International Raceway in 2007, is one of four drivers with a mathematical chance to win the USAC Silver Crown driving championship in Saturday afternoon's Rollie Beale 150 at Toledo Speedway. (TOLEDO, Ohio - October 12, 2010) - In the last 11 years since the Glass City race was reinstated, only twice has rain affected the race. Back in 2005, the race was called at half way (John Doering Jr. won) and the 2010 rendition of the race. The Great Lakes Helicopters Glass City 200 presented by Cherry Picked Auto Parts started under cold and very damp conditions and made it only to the 10th lap when it was put under rain delay. After an hour and a half rain delay it was decided to try on Sunday. Sunday wasn't much better, still cold and windy and by the end of race, the heavy misty rain had returned. ...

(TOLEDO, Ohio - October 5, 2010) - For the first time in the history of both the United States Auto Club (USAC) and Toledo Speedway, the famed Silver Crown Cars will make their initial appearance on Saturday, October 16 at the ½ mile paved oval.  The "Rollie Beale 150" will honor Toledo's very own Rollie Beale, a past champion in USAC and former director of the Sprint Car Series. ...

A reminder that the Flat Rock/Toledo banquet ticket reservation deadline is Saturday, October 23. The first group of tickets will be mailed early next week; the final mailing will be done after October 23.
