(Toledo, Ohio, Flat Rock, Michigan—May 10, 2011):  Everyone’s favorite sea creature is making his way to Toledo and Flat Rock Speedways!  Sponge Bob, the hit Nick TV cartoon character, will drop anchor Friday and Saturday, June 3-4.

(Flat Rock, Michigan - May 7, 2011) - With rain once again hitting many areas around Flat Rock Speedway, the weather somehow avoided the track and Saturday’s Action Painting/Fasten Right Roofing Night show was completed.  With a great effort by the race teams, the entire program was completed in just 2 hours and 15 minutes.  Tim Moore, Gary Camelet, Robbie Loving and Brad Turner visited victory lane.

(Toledo, Ohio - May 6, 2011) - Weekly Friday night racing withstood a threat from Mother Nature at Toledo Speedway, allowing the 7-Up/PNC Bank Opener to be completed.  Jim Froling is ready to defend his 2010 title and showed it by winning the ARCA ACME Dismantling Sportsman portion of the event.  Jeremy Vanderhoof captured the Parts Galore Figure 8 main, while Cory McCaughey sailed to victory in the R & M Recycling Street Stock feature.  Matt Brazeau capped off the night with the victory in the Jeff’s Collision 4 Cylinder race.

(Toledo, Ohio - May 5, 2011) -  A variety of race cars tested at Toledo Speedway Wednesday night, prepping for Friday night’s 7 Up/PNC Bank Season Opener at the Glass City oval.  The event is also Race #1 in the 10-race Valvoline Instant Oil Change Summer Racing Series.

(Toledo, Ohio - May 3, 2011) - The Placers Car Club Thursday Night Car Cruises return to Toledo Speedway for the 3^rd consecutive season beginning Thursday, May 5.

(Flat Rock, Michigan—April 30, 2011):  A cloudy, windy and very cool evening greeted race fans and teams for the 7 Up Season Opener Saturday at Flat Rock Speedway.  Dennis Strickland, Jerry Lee Jr., rookie Landon Schuster and Rich Abel started the 2011 season with victories. 

Practice at Toledo Speedway today, May 1, 2011, has been cancelled.  The practice has been rescheduled for Wednesday, May 4, 2011.  Pits will open at 4:00 p.m. Practice will run from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. 

Toledo, Ohio--April 28, 2011:  The second season of the Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) Summer Racing Series presented by Cumulus Radio will kick off at Toledo Speedway for the first event on Friday, May 6. The concept groups together 10 Friday night races at the Glass City oval.  The Toledo-area Cumulus Radio stations will provide the exposure for the Series throughout the 2011 season through on-air spots and various promotions, including live-radio remotes from various Valvoline Instant Oil Change locations.

Rain has washed out today's, April 27, 2011, practice at Flat Rock Speedway.  Start times for Saturday's race has been changed.  Pits: 12:30 p.m. Practice: 2:30 p.m. Qualifing: 5:00 p.m. Race at 7:00 p.m. 

(Flat Rock, Michigan--April 23, 2011):  Sunshine and blue skies greeted race teams for the first of two pre-season practice sessions prior to the April 30 7-Up Season opener. 

Over 60 cars took laps on the 1/4 mile oval and Figure 8 track during the day, which started with a damp track and standing water in the track infield. 

A Wedesday, April 27 practice is slated from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.  The pit area will open at 4 p.m.

Opening day will see the ARCA Moran Chevrolet Late Models, Parts Galore Figure 8's and DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks in action Saturday, April 30.  The pit area will open at 1:30, practice begins at 3, time trials are at 5 and racing begins at 7 p.m.  The front gates will open at 3 p.m.

Sunday, May 1 is the date for the Flat Rock Historical Society Flea Market at the track from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Admission is free.  For table rental information, please call 734-782-5220.

Salem, Indiana (Saturday, April 23^rd, 2011): Brian Campbell made history at Toledo Speedway in Toledo, Ohio on Saturday, April 23^rd as the Wyoming, Michigan veteran took the lead from 14-year-old Erik Jones on lap 18 and from there, Campbell would fend off challenges from Jones and then a late charge from another veteran, Eddie Hoffman, and in the end, Campbell would steer his McGunegill Engine Performance Ford into victory lane after winning the VR-12/Easter Bunny 100 Presented by JEGS.com, the inaugural race for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by GM Performance Parts.
