(FLAT ROCK, Michigan - June 23, 2012) - Second generation driver Harold Fair Jr. survived numerous yellow flags and sped to victory in the Diamond Racing Products Joy Fair Memorial 100 lap race for the ARCA Allegiant Late Model Gold Cup Series Saturday night at Flat Rock Speedway.  Fair, who passed away in December, was represented by his wife, children, grandchildren and great, great grandchildren in pre and post-race ceremonies. 

Track management announced that the grandstand will now be known as the Joy Fair Grandstand at the ¼ mile paved oval where Fair collected 159 feature wins and 10 track titles during his illustrious career.  A huge #1 and Fair’s name were painted on the infield grass by race director Jason Sanderson for the event.

(TOLEDO, Ohio - June 22, 2012) - Qualite Sports Lighting Systems, Marco’s Pizza and Parts Galore were all part of Toledo Speedway’s first Autograph Night promotion of the 2012 season Friday evening.  Fans mingled on the track with the Toledo drivers and the Michigan Legends drivers, who were making their initial appearance of the season at the Glass City oval.

(FLAT ROCK, Michigan - June 22, 2012) - A total of 31 drivers have entered Flat Rock Speedway’s Diamond Racing Products Joy Fair Memorial 100 to be held Saturday, June 23 at the ¼ mile paved oval.  The 100 lap race will pay tribute to the late Fair, who passed away in December of 2011.  Fair is Flat Rock’s all-time win leader with 159 victories and 10 track championships.

(TOLEDO, Ohio - June 21, 2012) - Toledo Speedway will present its 2^nd open-wheel racing event of the season Friday evening, June 29 for the annual Hemelgarn Racing/Super Fitness United States Auto Club (USAC) double-header.  The 2012 edition of the event will feature the USAC Traxxas Silver Crown Cars and the USAC Mopar National Midget Series. 

The Thursday night Placer's Car Club Classic Car Cruise-In car show at Toledo Speedway has been cancelled due to the weather.

The next car show is Thursday, July 5, with Bob Connelly performing.  Show time is 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Admission is free.

(FLAT ROCK, Michigan - June 21, 2012) - Flat Rock Speedway’s Diamond Racing Products Joy Fair Memorial 100 pre-entry list has grown to 30 cars as of Thursday morning.  The Saturday, June 23 event will pay tribute to the late Fair, who passed away in December of 2011.  Fair is Flat Rock’s all-time win leader with 159 victories and 10 track championships.

4-time Flat Rock champion Dave Kuhlman, one of Fair’s chief rivals in the 1980’s, has re-surfaced and will be at the track to compete in the 100 lap feature race.  Dave sat out last season due to his work schedule, but has prepped his car for Saturday’s contest.  Additional entries have arrived from Danny Slater, Jim Bailey, Derrick Sheppard and Jeff Plumb.  Brent Jack and Mike Young have withdrawn from the race, but the field still stands at 30 machines. 

(FLAT ROCK, Michigan - June 20, 2012) - As a tribute to the memory of Joy Fair, a special memorial decal will be available at Flat Rock Speedway Saturday for the Diamond Racing Products Joy Fair Memorial 100 at Flat Rock Speedway.  Fair’s long-time friend, Rand Thompson, is conducting the sale of the decals.  To date, $1000 has been donated to the American Diabetes Association in memory of Joy.

(FLAT ROCK, Michigan - June 19, 2012) - Current point leader and 2-time ARCA Allegiant Gold Cup champion Mike Root of Grand Rapids, MI has filed his entry for Saturday’s Diamond Racing Products Joy Fair Memorial 100 at Flat Rock Speedway.

(FLAT ROCK, Michigan - June 18, 2012) - Lap money for the Saturday, June 23 Diamond Racing Products Joy Fair Memorial 100 has been sold out!  The leader of each lap in the 100 lap main event for the ARCA Allegiant Gold Cup Late Model Series will receive $5 per lap, plus the bonus awards posted;
