Yee-Studt-Ford-Brehmer Notch Flat Rock Victories; Turner 4 Cylinder Champ
FLAT ROCK, MI: (8-29-09): Stan Yee Jr., Greg Studt, Regan Ford, Troy Brehmer and Brad Turner steered to victories on Glass Unlimited Night at Flat Rock Speedway. Walter Krause of Glass Unlimited presented the trophies and bonus money to the winners in post-race festivities on a very unseasonably cool August evening.

1990-BLACK BANDIT KESELOWSKI ENDS TOLEDO VICTORY DROUGHT
Bob Keselowski ended a long victory dry spell at Toledo Speedway by taking the Snap On Tools 125 ARCA Permatex Supercar Series race. Keselowski, the 1983 Toledo Speedway late model division track champion, extended the string of consecutive races with different winners in the ARCA Series to 8 winners in as many races.

...Toledo Speedway 50th Anniversary: A Look Back at 1960
Don Friend of Detroit, a newcomer to competition at the Toledo Speedway, quickly adapted to the new ½ mile high banked oval, taking the 20-lap supermodified main event. In doing so, Friend stopped the 4-race win streak of current point leader Al Beale of Toledo. Friend, at the wheel of a Cadillac-powered modified sprint, started last in 14th position, but moved quickly to the front to take the lead on lap 4. He went on to win by a healthy margin over Beale, Benny Rapp, Beanie Treen and Johnny Price. Rollie Beale led the 30 total cars in qualifying with a lap of 21.30 seconds. Rollie captured his heat and the Australian pursuit over his brother Al, but Al was not to be shut out as he won the 4-car dash.

FLAT ROCK, MI: (8-22-09): Red and yellow were the colors of the night Saturday at Flat Rock Speedway as numerous incidents throughout the night made for a long evening. A good crowd turned out for the Stoney Creek Auto Parts/Monroe Evening News Kid's Night on a cloudy and cool night. Dan Ford Jr., Jeremy Miller, Lonnie York and Chance Rice took their respective feature wins. Kevin Butzin of Stoney Creek presented the trophies to the victors.
...Rain Can't Win at Toledo
TOLEDO, OH: (8-21-09): A hearty group of fans and race teams endured a nearly 1 hour rain delay Friday evening at Toledo Speedway. Just as the Glass Bowl Lanes Autograph session was concluding, the skies opened up, backing up the racing card. The program was altered to keep things moving and an action-packed night of racing took place. Terry Jones, Cory McCaughey, Ryan Beabout, Perry Marlow and Dennis Whisman took their respective features. Glass Bowl boss Ron Gorney presented trophies in the Glass Bowl Lanes Winner's Circle.
