Toledo Speedway

(TOLEDO, Ohio – May 17, 2014) – The first practice session at Toledo Speedway is complete and Mason Mitchell is on top the speed charts.

Mitchell, in the No. 98 Thermal Technologies Services Ford, tested at Toledo within the past two weeks. He certainly had his car dialed in this morning, turning a lap in 111.822 mph. It was the best of the 24 cars who made it onto the track for the first 45-minute practice session of the day.

The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards will have its second practice at Toledo at 1 p.m. Menards Pole Qualifying will be at 3:30 p.m.

Justin Boston was the second in the session with Grant Enfinger, Kenny Schrader and Matt Tifft rounding out the top five. Tifft spin in one of his first laps, but did not make contact with any car or wall.

Arcaracing.com will be back at 1 p.m. with live timing & scoring and audio of the practice session.

Discounted tickets for Sunday’s Menards 200 presented by Federated Car Care at Toledo Speedway are now on sale at six Menards stores in northwest Ohio. The tickets are available for the special price of $15 between now and race day if purchased at Menards.

The Menards stores selling the discounted tickets include Defiance, Findlay, Holland, Oregon, Sandusky and Toledo, Ohio. Adult tickets are $15, with children ages 6-12 $3 and children under 6 are free.

The race at Toledo will be the fifth race of the 2014 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards season. It will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 1.
