Bikers Provide Early Christmas for Area Kids

TOLEDO OH (10-29-07)--Santa Claus will lead a motorcade of several hundred "biker-elves" to deliver gifts to children on Sunday, November 4, 2007. Registration for the 18th annual Toy Run will begin at 9:30 A.M. at Signature Harley Davidson, Perrysburg, for bikers donating a monetary gift or new toy.

Last year's Toy Run brought together over 1,200 bikers and over $9K for the cause. After registration the motorcade will proceed to the Toledo Speedway to join together with additional riders then to DeVilbiss High School (3301 Upton Ave.) where Santa and his bikers will meet children and distribute gifts. After the gift distribution, participants will ride back to the Toledo Speedway to enjoy food, music by Josh Boyd, and festivities.

The event is sponsored by Bikers of Northwest Ohio, benefiting The Harbor Foundation which is part of Harbor Behavioral Healthcare, a non-profit mental health, wellness, vocational, and adult day rehabilitation organization serving families, adults, and children.
