50 drivers from 11 states on 7-Up 150 entry list

It's only a week away and it just keeps getting bigger. At least a fifth of the country will be represented next week when the 7-Up 150 takes place at Toledo Speedway.

As expected, the entry list for the historic event has hit 50. It also has drivers from 11 different states entered.

Tickets are now on sale for the 7-Up 150, which will feature drivers from the ARCA/CRA Super Series, the ARCA Midwest Tour and several other late model drivers from across the Midwest and South compete together on the same track for the first time.

The entry list is loaded with track champions, late model winners, short track aces, veterans from the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards as well as some NASCAR names and faces.

Drivers from Ohio, Minnesota, West Virginia, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Georgia, Wisconsin, South Carolina and Tennessee have entered the big event.

Race events start Friday, April 19, when an optional, open, practice session is planned from 3 to 7 p.m. Anyone purchasing a Friday pit pass will be treated to dinner following the practice at the Speedway Bar and Grille, located adjacent to the track. Host Mike Miller will broadcast his daily Drive Time sports talk radio show from 5 to 6 p.m. at the bar and grille.

Race day, Saturday, April 20, will see practice begin at 11 a.m., time trials at 3 p.m. and racing at 5. The schedule includes a last-chance race (if necessary), an on-track autograph session and the 7-Up 150 lap feature, which will be all green flag.

Race fans can save $5 per ticket if purchased prior to race day by calling the Toledo track office at (419) 727-1100 or downloading the 2013 ticket order form at www.toledospeedway.com.

Camping is free at the track, as is attendance to the Friday practice session.
