Toledo Speedway, Burger King Offer Fans Discount Tickets For May 11 Event

(TOLEDO, Ohio - May 2, 2012) - Toledo Speedway and the Greater Toledo Burger King Restaurants have teamed up to offer fans a money-saving ticket offer for the Friday night, May 11 race card at the Glass City oval.

Fans can stop at their local Toledo-area Burger King and pick up the discount ticket voucher for admission to the May 11 event, while supplies last.  The greater Toledo Burger King stores are entering into their initial marketing partnership with the speedway.

The ticket offer provides a 50% savings on admission for 2 adults for the race, which will carry the Burger King moniker.  The track offers great family entertainment at affordable prices, and the Burger King offer gives Toledo-area residents the opportunity to spend a night at the races at a great bargain.

Children’s tickets for ages 6-12 are just $3 each, and kids 5 and under are free.

May 11 is also Scout Night at Toledo Speedway, with all scouts in uniform and leaders in uniform or with scout ID admitted FREE as guests of the speedway for the night of action-packed fun!

The track is known as a fan-friendly venue, and is continuing its renovation of the facility.  A new section of grandstand has been completed, with the second section scheduled for completion in the next few weeks.  Each section of grandstands at the Benore Road track features a closed-deck seating system, making it safe for fans of all ages.  The track’s lighting system has also been upgraded.

On the track, the ARCA ACME Dismantling Sportsman cars will battle wheel to wheel on the ½ mile paved oval, with action on the short track being provided by the wild Parts Galore Figure 8 division and the R & M Recycling Street Stocks.
