15-Year-Old Bryce Bozell Set for Toledo Glass City Race

TOLEDO, OH — Southwest Michigan teenager Bryce Bozell will be among the young drivers looking to make their mark at Toledo Speedway on Saturday, October 3, competing in the Folds of Honor 50 driven by Lakeside Interior Contractors Outlaw Super Late Model Feature presented by Valley Truck Centers, Tom’s Collision, and R&M Recycling as part of Toledo Speedway’s Stars, Stripes and Speed Fest.
The Portage, Michigan racer has been behind the wheel since he was seven years old, moving through quarter midgets, Late Model Sportsman, Outlaw Limited Late Models and now Outlaw Super Late Models.
Bozell comes from a deep Southwest Michigan racing family. His father, Phil Bozell, is a longtime Outlaw Super Late Model competitor, while his grandfather, Andy Bozell, is a Michigan Motorsports Hall of Fame inductee with more than 200 feature victories and 16 track championships. Phil will also be competing on Saturday in the #8 car, and has a lineage at Toledo over the decades as a proven race winner in ARCA Truck Series action.
Bryce was named the 2025 Reveal the Hammer Outlaw Super Late Model Rookie of the Year, and the 15-year-old enters Toledo as one of the next generation of drivers making their presence known in Super Late Model racing.
Bryce will also be racing alongside his cousin Mason Metzger, who looks for victory as well.
The Toledo event carries additional significance, as the winner of the 50-lap Outlaw Super Late Model feature will be awarded the designation of the 2026 Glass City 200.
A Full Night of Racing
The Stars, Stripes and Speed Fest closes out the 2026 Toledo Speedway season with a packed night of racing. The program features the Hemelgarn/SuperFitness USAC Silver Crown Championship Rollie Beale Classic, the Folds of Honor 50 presented by Lakeside Interior Contractors Outlaw Super Late Models, and the Monroe Asphalt yourBIGplans.com 500 Sprint Car Tour. The Monroe Asphalt Factory Stock Championship feature will also be on the card.
Spectator gates open at 11:45 AM, Opening ceremonies are scheduled for 4 PM, with the 500 Sprint Car Tour running a 40-lap feature, Outlaw Super Late Models going 50 laps, Factory
Stocks going 20 laps and the USAC Silver Crown Championship closing the night with the 100-lap Rollie Beale Classic.
