Kyle Crump Looks to Finally Capture the Glass City this Saturday

TOLEDO, OH — Kyle Crump will return to Toledo Speedway on Saturday, October 3, behind the wheel of the No. 131 RMD Racing Chevrolet in the Folds of Honor 50 presented by Lakeside Interior Contractors Outlaw Super Late Model feature presented by Valley Truck Centers, Tom’s Collision, and R&M Recycling as part of Toledo Speedway’s Stars, Stripes and Speed Fest. Crump is looking to finally capture the Glass City 200, which will be designated to the winner of the 50-lap feature.

Crump has come agonizingly close to Glass City 200 victory at Toledo. He has finished runner-up in the Glass City 200 four times, including three consecutive ASA/CRA Super Series runner-up finishes in 2018, 2019 and 2021. His 2021 effort was particularly memorable, as Crump came from the rear of the field to take the lead late before losing the lead on the final lap.

Crump won his first late model checkered flag in CRA competition in Toledo in April of 2025. And this Saturday, Crump goes for redemption in the Glass City race.

The No. 131 RMD Racing entry also carries a significant history. Stan and Judi Rosen have been involved in motorsports as car owners for more than 60 years, beginning in SCCA competition before spending time in drag racing and the ARCA Truck Series. The Rosen family eventually moved into Pro and Super Late Model racing, where the No. 131 has become closely associated with Crump.

Crump and the Rosens have enjoyed plenty of success together, including Crump's first ASA/CRA Super Late Model victory at Kalamazoo Speedway in 2017 and a dramatic Redbud 400 victory in 2021 after the team came back from two laps down.

Now, Crump gets another opportunity at the Glass City, and another chance to shed his runner-up history in the race.
