TOLEDO, OH — NASCAR alumni Dakoda Armstrong is set for a busy day at Toledo Speedway on Saturday, October 3, competing in both the Hemelgarn/SuperFitness Rollie Beale Classic USAC Silver Crown Championship and the yourBIGplans.com 500 Sprint Car Tour presented by Monroe Asphalt during the Stars, Stripes and Speed Fest.

Armstrong brings an impressive open-wheel résumé to the Glass City oval. He is a former USAC Silver Crown race winner, capturing the 2024 Silver Crown Showdown at World Wide Technology Raceway after leading 43 of the 60 laps.

Armstrong has also been a standout in the yourBIGplans.com 500 Sprint Car Tour. He won at Toledo in 2024 with a three-wide pass for the lead, then pulled away to score his second consecutive 500 Tour victory. In 2025, he captured the series championship.

His NASCAR career included three seasons in the NASCAR O’Reilly Series and two in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, giving Toledo fans an opportunity to see a driver with experience at NASCAR's national level return to the short track.
