September 22, 2026: The 2026 Toledo Speedway season will come to a close in spectacular
fashion on Saturday, October 3, as the Stars, Stripes and Speed Fest takes over the historic
half-mile oval. Headlining the season finale will be the Hemelgarn Racing/Super Fitness USAC
Silver Crown Championship Rollie Beale Classic, alongside the Folds of Honor/Lakeside Interior
Contractors 50-lap Outlaw Super Late Model race, the Monroe Asphalt 500 Sprint Car Tour, and
the Monroe Asphalt Factory Stock Championship, presented by Valley Truck Centers.

Local businessman and 1996 Indianapolis 500-winning car owner Ron Hemelgarn once again
has stepped forward to support the event through Hemelgarn Racing and Super Fitness.
Hemelgarn has enjoyed tremendous success in USAC Silver Crown competition alongside
driver Justin Grant, with the pair combining for multiple victories and championship success.

The Hemelgarn-Grant partnership added another milestone to its resume at Toledo Speedway
in 2025 when Grant drove the Hemelgarn Racing entry to victory in the Rollie Beale Classic.
The win marked Hemelgarn's first triumph in the prestigious event and added another chapter to
the team's decorated history in USAC Silver Crown competition.

“Ron Hemelgarn was one of the very first to reach out to my business partner Roy Mott and
myself back in 1999 and asked what he could do to support Toledo Speedway and grass-roots
racing,” said Ron Drager, Owner and Promoter of Toledo Speedway. “He has always been there
for the racers and the track for the many years we have been here. His continued support is the
reason we are able to make the Rollie Beale Classic such an important part of our schedule.”

The USAC Silver Crown Series will once again take center stage in the annual Rollie Beale
Classic as part of a championship-caliber night of racing to close the 2026 season. The Stars,
Stripes and Speed Fest will also feature the 50-lap Folds of Honor/Lakeside Interior Contractors
Outlaw Super Late Model event, Monroe Asphalt 500 Sprint Car Tour competition and the
Factory Stock Championship, creating one of the most diverse racing programs of the year.

The race pays tribute to the late Rollie Beale, a Toledo native and one of the most accomplished
figures in open-wheel racing. Beale was the 1973 USAC Sprint Car champion and later served
as a USAC Series director, while competing against many of the biggest names in the sport
throughout his career.

With the USAC Silver Crown championship race returning to Toledo Speedway and the
defending Rollie Beale Classic-winning combination of Ron Hemelgarn and Justin Grant looking
to add another chapter to their success, the Stars, Stripes and Speed Fest promises a fitting
conclusion to the 2026 season at the Glass City oval
