TOLEDO, OH — The biggest late-model event of the season is nearly here. On Saturday, September 19, Toledo Speedway will come alive for the 38th Running of the CorvetteParts.net Glass City 200, featuring the return of the ASA STARS National Tour for 200 laps of Super Late Model competition.
The Glass City 200 has been a Toledo Speedway tradition since 1968 and has established itself as one of the most prestigious short-track races in the Midwest. The 2026 edition promises another can't-miss night of racing as the ASA STARS National Tour takes on Toledo Speedway's demanding half-mile oval.
Future Stars
The Glass City 200 has produced some of the most memorable moments in Toledo Speedway history. Recent winners have included drivers who have gone on to compete at the highest levels of motorsports, continuing the event's reputation as a proving ground for some of the sport's top talent.
The first year of the ASA Stars National Tour brought 200 laps with one division back to the Glass City 200 event. In the same year Jesse Love won the ARCA Menards Series Championship he took the top step in the Glass City 200. Jesse Love was recently announced as the driver for Wood Brothers Racing in 2027, adding another competitor of the Glass City to make it to the NASCAR Cup Series.
The Glass City 200 has seen other stars in recent years such as Tyler Ankrum, Ty Majeski, Noah Gragson, and Bubba Pollard.
That tradition of developing and showcasing talent makes the Glass City 200 much more than another race on the schedule. It is an opportunity for established stars, Midwest veterans and emerging young drivers to make their mark at one of the region's most historic tracks.
