High School Racing Association: As announced in January, Flat Rock Speedway has become the first track in the state of Michigan to adopt the High School Racing Association program. If you know anyone interested in joining here is some information about the program. Students must have HSRA membership, register on HSRA website, signed parent and minor release forms. 2026 Tire Information:

  • Outlaw Super Late Models – Hoosier ST1 (Star) left side and Hoosier ST2 (Star) right side will be used for the 2026 season at Flat Rock. Tire price will be $195 per tire.
  • Street Stock, Figure 8, Late Model Sportsmen – Hoosier 890s will once again be used in 2026. The 890 tire price will be $160 per tire.

Tire prices have increased for the first time since 2022, this is due to multiple price increases we have encountered. 

All classes will be permitted to buy up to 4 tires for pre-season practices and up to 4 tires the week of each race they are scheduled for and run. Teams will be able to present up to 4 tires in the pre season to be added to their 2026 inventory. Up to four (4) of those tires can be new (from 2025 or from other sources). Any tires presented must be done so prior to your first race. The T3 Tire Scanning System will be utilized in 2026.

Tire procedure will be posted under the racer info tab on the Flat Rock website.

No changes to tire procedure for Factory Stocks.

2026 Outlaw Super Late Model Loyalty Bonus: New in 2026 thanks to Andy Obryan from CNV Enterprises. Outlaw Super Late Model drivers that compete in every race during the 2026 season will receive a $200 bonus at the 2026 awards banquet. Thank you Andy!

2026 Banquet: New banquet location announced. The 2026 Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways ARCA awards banquet will be held at the First Merchants Bank Expo Center located on the Monroe County Fairgrounds property. The date is set for Friday, November 13. Start time and ticket pricing will be announced closer to the banquet.

2026 Race Director: Frankie Bockstanz Jr returns as primary Race Director for the 2026 season.

Pit Pad Rentals: Are now available for the 2026 racing season. All pit pad rentals will be done online under the racer info tab. Pit pads will only be $100 for the full season until April 1st. After April 1st they will be $200. If no pit pad is purchased it will be $20 a night pad rental.

ARCA Membership and Minor Release: Forms are available.  They are posted on each of the track’s home page under the Racer Info. tab.  *There is a separate membership document for Minors that includes the minor’s release and waiver, also in that document.  Please be sure to fill out the entire application.

Flat Rock Practice Days: Practice dates will be on April 11 and April 25. Show up to run laps and get your car teched, we will not wait for you on opening day. Pit gates will open at 9:30 a.m. with on-track activity (noon – 4 p.m.).

Toledo Practice Days: The Toledo Practice Day will be Friday April 17.

Tire Buster Needed: We are in need of a tire buster for Flat Rock in 2026, if you are interested, or know someone who maybe interested call the track or email bhamby@marcumracing.com.

Penske Shocks: Thank you Penske Racing Shocks for continuing their Outlaw Super Late Model contingency and shock certificate program again for 2026.

Five Star: Thank you Five Star Racing Bodies for continuing their Street Stock and Late Model Sportsman contingency programs again for 2026.

Motor State Safety Summit: The 2026 Safety Summit will take place on Saturday,

March 7th, at Lane Automotive in Watervliet, Michigan. This event features an information and value-packed day for racers, race crews, track owners and promoters, and anyone involved in automotive racing.
