Max Reaves, Joe Gibbs Racing look to Sweep Flat Rock and Toledo
(September 29, 2025) – When the Owens Corning 200 takes the green flag on October 4th at Toledo Speedway, all eyes will be on Max “Mad Max” Reaves, who looks to add another chapter to his breakout 2025 season. The Cook Out–backed driver has already made a tremendous start in ARCA Menards Series East competition, and now aims to sweep at ARCA-owned tracks - Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways.
Reaves, driving the No. 18 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing, burst onto the ARCA scene earlier this year by going undefeated in his first three East Series starts. A notable performance came at Flat Rock Speedway, where he started from the pole, led the majority of laps, and held off late-race challenger Tyler Reif to secure the win.
Now, the North Carolina native is turning his attention to Toledo, where a victory would cap a remarkable run across the Midwest’s most demanding bullrings.
A key figure in his rise has been 2000 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Bobby Labonte, who has played an active role in mentoring Reaves.
Backed by Cook Out and Joe Gibbs Racing, Reaves has become one of the most talked-about young prospects in American motorsports. A Toledo win would not only solidify his reputation as a future star but also punctuate a strong run of form in 2025 for the young driver.

As part of race day festivities, fans can meet Reaves, Bobby Labonte, and the stars of the ARCA Menards Series during the on-track autograph session from 2:15 PM – 3:15 PM.
