University of Toledo New Women’s Basketball Coach Ginny Boggess Announced as Grand Marshal | Friday, May 24th
TOLEDO, Ohio (May 22, 2024) - In collaboration with the University of Toledo Athletic Department, Toledo Speedway is pleased to have new University of Toledo women’s basketball coach Ginny Boggess as grand marshal for Friday’s Kids Night at Toledo Speedway!
Boggess was announced as the University of Toledo’s head women’s basketball coach on April 9th, 2024. A native of Hamlin, WV, she comes fresh off of coaching New Jersey’s Monmouth University basketball team to an NCAA Women’s basketball tournament appearance in her second season with the team.
Be sure to give Coach Boggess a warm welcome to Toledo this Friday!
Friday is FREE for kids under 12, as well as scouts. Come in a Scouting America uniform and get free entry! Kids will also get a free Hot Dog.
National, regional, and local short track racing will be on the docket this Friday night at Toledo. The National Compact Touring Series, Ohio Wheelman Series, and Safety-Kleen Factory Stock 500 Series will embark on a fun night of action in the Glass City.
