Sean Hingorani Enters Toledo Speedway Shore Lunch 200

(October 2, 2023) - 16-year old rising star Sean Hingorani has entered Saturday’s Toledo Speedway Shore Lunch 200 presented by CGS Imaging, the season finale for the ARCA Menards Series and their 2023 campaign.

Hingorani made headlines in April when he became the first driver of Indian descent to win a NASCAR race. He took his first win in a race in Irwindale in the ARCA Menards Series West.

He followed up this winning effort at Irwindale with three more checkered flags over the course of the 2023 season - Winning in Bakersfield, Shasta, and Evergreen in the Venturini Motorsports #15 Toyota.

With four wins in nine attempts so far in the ARCA Menards Series West, Hingorani currently leads the overall point standings in the final leg of the 2023 racing season.

Hingorani has also raced a partial schedule in the ARCA Menards Series East and national tour, where he has competed up front and fought for some big wins over the course of the 2023 season.

Hingorani raced at Toledo’s sister track, Flat Rock Speedway, back on May 20th as a part of the Dutch Boy 150. Hingorani set the fastest lap time in qualifying and led the most laps of the day, but eventually came home third after William Sawalich passed for the win on lap 103.

Hingorani looks to finish out the ARCA Menards Series national tour season on a high note, and potentially take his first win at Toledo Speedway on Saturday.

The Shore Lunch 200 is a televised motorsports event set for October 7th, 2023 at 4:00 PM. This race features intense racing, as well as a showcase for the city of Toledo to a national audience.

Hingorani will be piloting in a Venturini Motorsports-powered car. The Venturini team looks to take the ARCA Menards Series owner’s title on Saturday in addition to the drivers title, as Jesse Love clinched the ARCA Menards Series driver’s overall points title Saturday at Salem.

There will be a full day of on-track activity for the ARCA Menards Series, with practice at 11:45 am, General Tire Pole Qualifying at 12:30 pm, the Hearn Industrial on-track autograph session at 2:15 pm, and the green flag for the Shore Lunch 200 presented by CGS Imaging at 4:00 pm ET. There will also be a special Valley Truck Centers 50-lap ARCA Outlaw Super Late Model feature race on the card, scheduled for 1:30 pm. For complete event information please click below!
