Toledo Bus Race Postponed by Weather | Rain Date This Sunday

August 11, 2023 -- The Friday, August 11 Monroe Superstore/R & M Recycling School Bus Figure 8 race at Toledo Speedway has been postponed due to the weather.

The forecast for scattered thunderstorms in the late afternoon and early evening put a stop to the event, which is now rescheduled for this Sunday, August 13 (as per the 2023 schedule of events).

All tickets dated for Friday night will be honored this Sunday for the rain date. Plenty of tickets still remain and will go on sale Sunday at 4 p.m. The ticket office and front gates open at 4, race car practice begins at 4, followed by qualifying.

An on-track autograph session is set for 5 p.m., with racing at 6 p.m.

The entire Friday night schedule of events will shift to Sunday’s show. The ARCA Salenbien Excavating and Trucking Late Model Sportsman and the ARCA Safety Kleen Factory Stocks will battle, while a Flag Pole race and Boat Figure 8 race are also on the race card. The night concludes with the School Bus Figure 8 contest!
