FLAT ROCK/TOLEDO SPEEDWAY BULLETIN-DECEMBER 17, 2021

FLAT ROCK/TOLEDO SPEEDWAY BULLETIN-DECEMBER 17, 2021

Happy Holidays!  We are expecting to release our schedules sometime next week.  As we mentioned in the November bulletin, there are several of our racing “family” members that are going through tough times health-wise.  We send out our best wishes to those folks.  *Out of respect for their privacy, we do not post information concerning an individual’s personal issues, unless contacted directly by the immediate family.

The 2022 ARCA memberships are now available.  They are posted on each of the track’s home page under the Racer Info. tab.  NO increase in membership costs for 2022.  *There is now a separate document for a Minor’s license app; it includes the minor’s release and waiver also in that document.  Please be sure to fill out the entire app, as there are additional waivers due to the COVID issues.

The 2 tracks will flip nights one time in 2022;  Flat Rock will run Friday night, August 5, while Toledo will be in action Saturday, August 6.

We welcome back MORAN CHEVROLET as the Flat Rock Outlaw Super Late Model class title sponsor!  Thank you to Pat Moran and his group for their continued support!  Steve Peters and INNOVATIVE FLUIDS, LLC also returns with the bonus feature win money for each class again next season.  And CORRIGAN RACE FUELS will once again sponsor the Street Stock 100.  More details will follow soon.

At Toledo, HEMELGARN/SUPER FITNESS will again sponsor the USAC Silver Crown Rollie Beale Classic, which is now Saturday night, August 6.  The Late Model Sportsman and Factory Stocks will also be a part of this event.  O’REILLY AUTO PARTS will sponsor a new event at Toledo for 2022-the ATV “Big Air” Tour, featuring the 4-wheelers stunt show, complete with inflatable ramps!  That event is Friday, July 8…..and…on the same night, the Factory Stocks will battle in a 100 lap spectacular!  Again, more details soon!

REMINDER ABOUT W-9’s:  We sent along a W-9 form in the rules mailing..if you received one, fill it out and send back to us. This is required each year…we don’t have your tax information on the membership apps, so we need this form completed…do it now, don’t get caught in a time crunch!

THE INFORMATION BELOW WAS ALSO PART OF THE NOVEMBER BULLETIN…..

RULES:  2022 changes were mailed November 9 and posted on each track’s website under the Racer information tab.  **All divisions-Helmet dating moves to Snell 2015 rating or newer.  Enduro drivers will now be required to have working scanner or raceceiver for next season.

ALL DIVISIONS--NOISE LIMITS:  The decibel reading for all classes is maximum 100 db at each track.  We have been talking about this in the past….those are your family members in the pits and grandstands.  We will be checking levels….first offense, fix it for next race; second offense--you start scratch in all your events that night; third offense--cannot race.  Working mufflers required…take a look NOW at your exhaust and quiet your cars down. You all know how to fix this issue…..

Enduro/Factory Stocks:  Separate point systems will continue for these 2 classes, and both run under same set of rules.  **A reminder your car is not a demolition derby car…make an effort to have the nosepiece and tailpiece look like one, cover the radiator, too….A total of 4 Enduro races are scheduled for Flat Rock, 250 laps each; should tire availability become an issue, we may reduce the number of laps for the Enduro races.

TIRES:  We have been in contact with Hoosier Tire; to date, expect the same issues regarding inventory availability for the first half of the season.  And, like everything else in this world, look for a price increase.  When we get that information in the new year, we will let you know.

The following are some of the dates for each track.  We are expecting to release both schedules near the holiday season.  These are tentative dates at this point……

Next bulletin will be in mid-January.

On behalf of all of us at the 2 tracks, we wish you, your family, friends and loved ones peace, health and happiness!  Enjoy the holiday season…Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!  Please take care of your family members and friends!
