KODY SWANSON LEADS SILVER CROWN TEAMS TO TOLEDO; HEMELGARN DRIVER GRANT POINT LEADER

Toledo, OH—September 22, 2020:  Defending race winner Kody Swanson is one of the early favorites as the USAC Silver Crown Series heads to Toledo Speedway Sunday afternoon, October 4 for the Hemelgarn/Super Fitness Rollie Beale Classic 100 lap contest.

Local businessman and sponsor of the race, Ron Hemelgarn, is the owner of the car piloted by Justin Grant, who leads the Series points with 2 races remaining on the 2020 schedule for the Silver Crown cars.

Local driver Austin Nemire is also entered for the October event.

A tradition at Toledo Speedway since the 1960s, the United States Auto Club (USAC) open-wheel divisions have battled on the big ½ mile paved oval for nearly 6 decades.

A special addition to the race card for that date will be racing for four divisions of ARCA stock cars featuring local drivers—the ARCA Late Model Sportsman, ARCA Street Stock, ARCA Figure-8 and ARCA Factory Stock classes.

Per the State of Ohio and the local health department COVID-19 guidelines, only 1500 tickets may be sold for the grandstands for Toledo’s final race of the year.  Advance tickets are available only online at www.toledospeedway.com.  Any remaining tickets will be available at the track on race day at the ticket office.  All tickets are $25 each.

The track ticket office will open at 11 a.m. on race day, as well as the spectator gates.  Practice begins at 11:30 a.m. and racing begins at 2 p.m.

The probable entry list for the USAC Silver Crown Series and the time schedule for the day can be found at www.toledospeedway.com.  Click on the event on the right side of the home page and follow down to the entry list and schedule buttons.
