ARCA Menards Series Twinbill at Toledo, July 31 & August 1 Live on MAVTV

ARCA Menards Series Twinbill at Toledo, July 31 & August 1 Live on MAVTV

The ARCA Menards Series races originally scheduled for May 29 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and July 11 at Elko Speedway have been removed from the 2020 schedule and their dates reassigned to July 31 and August 1 at Toledo Speedway, series and track officials announced. Officials from ARCA, Mid-Ohio and Elko expect to renew the originally scheduled races in the 2021 season.

The unique schedule marks the first weekend doubleheader at the same track for the ARCA Menards Series since Pocono ran a pair of races on the Friday and Saturday of its July weekend in 2003. It is the first time since 1956 that the series will hold multiple races on a single weekend in its hometown, when a Friday/Saturday tripleheader was held at the now defunct Toledo Raceway Park.

The Friday/Saturday doubleheader at Toledo Speedway will be run under ARCA's Event Operations Protocol and limited to essential race team and operations personnel only. Toledo/Lucas County Health Department officials, as with the June 13 ARCA Menards Series East race at Toledo Speedway, have approved the event to be run with participants only and as such fans will not be permitted.

Friday's Menards.com 200 presented by SPxE is slated for an 8 pm ET green flag, while Saturday's Menards 200 presented by Crosley Brands is set for a 6 pm ET start. Both races will be televised live on MAVTV and streamed on TrackPass on NBC Sports Gold.

Rick D., weather and track conditions permitting, the Menards 200 presented by Crosley Brands will resume (6 of the 200 laps are complete) at 12 noon on Sunday, August 2 or as soon as possible after that. Updates will be at www.arcaracing.com.

How about an update for today’s race(make-up date, time, etc)?  Thx.

Yep, no fans is ridiculous. 40 miles down the road at Fremont Speedway they've been running 410 winged sprints, 305's and non wing sprint cars WITH FANS. Was there July 18th and was a fantastic show, they also ran July 25th and will be going again August 8th for my dad's birthday since no one else in the area seems to have the marbles to stand up to this political bs.

This is once in a lifetime having back to back ARCA races at Home track and NO FANS allowed is horrible.....Indiana has racing with fans continuing and some venues have mask mandate!......Totally SUCKS

Terry, we wish we could have you at the track to enjoy the races in person. But we are operating within the framework we have been presented with. MAVTV will carry both races live, and if you're in the Toledo area, so will BCSN. We're trying our hardest to give all our fans an opportunity to watch. Thanks for your support and we share your frustration.
