TOLEDO, FLAT ROCK CHAMPS HONORED AT MARFC BANQUET
The 54th Annual Michigan Auto Racing Fan Club (MARFC) awards banquet honored track champions from across the state Saturday night, including several 2019 Flat Rock and Toledo Speedway champs.
Mike Young (ARCA Late Model Sportsman) and Matt Ringger (ARCA Factory Stock) represented Toledo Speedway as they were recognized for their championship runs last season.
2019 Flat Rock champions Dennis Whisman Jr. (ARCA Figure 8), Greg Studt (featuring substitute Bob Studt due to Greg’s work commitments), and Ian Jezylo (ARCA Street Stock B Main) also received plaques from the club for their accomplishments.
ARCA Menards Series champion Christian Eckes made the long trip to the banquet to receive his plaque for the 2019 National Championship. Eckes will drive full time for Kyle Busch Motorsports in 2020 in the NASCAR Gander RV and Outdoors Truck Series.
