TOLEDO STREET DRAGS RETURN FOR 2019 SCHEDULE
Toledo, Ohio—January 8, 2019: Toledo Speedway has included three (3) race events for the “Street Drags” as part of the 2019 schedule. The first 2 dates will be part of a Friday night stock car show, while the third and final date will be on a Wednesday evening.
The “Drive it In and Race It” concept began at the track last season, with a small number of participants taking part. Track officials have pledged to continue the events, and, by adding them to a Friday night show, more exposure will be given to the Drags. The track is 300 feet in length, using the Toledo front stretch of the ½ mile oval.
A test and tune is scheduled for Tuesday night, May 28 in conjunction with testing for the oval track race cars from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The first race date for the Street Drags is Friday, June 14, with the other Friday night event slated for July 26. The final event has a Wednesday, August 21 date.
