Toledo, Ohio—August 8, 2018: Toledo Speedway will offer a great bargain on admission this Friday night, August 10! Everyone’s a Kid Night features $3 admission for all and Autograph Night, one of the most popular promotions of the season!
Friday is just the beginning of a huge weekend of events at the Toledo Speedway complex. Friday, Saturday and Sunday August 10-12 the Toledo Speedway BMX Track, located on the west end of the grounds, will host the 2018 Buckeye Nationals, with close to 1000 bicycle riders expected from across the country.
August 10 is also R & M Recycling/Glass Bowl Lanes Autograph Night, allowing fans to walk onto the track and meet their favorite drivers! The Autograph session will begin at 6:45 and show time is 7:30 p.m. The ARCA Aramark Late Model Sportsman return to battle on the ½ mile paved oval, while the ARCA Victory Lane Quick Oil Change Figure 8’s and the ARCA Factory Stocks will trade paint on the short track. A Kids Power Wheels Derby is also scheduled for kids ages 3-10. Registration forms are available on the track’s website home page under forms—www.toledospeedway.com.
There is NO presale of tickets or phone orders for the August 10 event. ALL tickets will go on sale at 5 p.m. Friday night when the ticket office and front gates open. All seating is general admission-first-come, first-serve.
The month of August activity wraps up the following Friday, August 17 with the Play Zone of Toledo/Lakeshore Utility Trailer Sales “Night of Destruction”, featuring the School Bus Figure 8 race! A Figure 8 Train race, Boat Figure 8 race and a Flag Pole race are also included. Stock Car racing will also be a part of the August 17 show, as the Late Model Sportsman and Factory Stocks compete in their Season Championship events.
Pre-sale tickets are now on sale for the August 17 event. All seating is general admission, first-come, first-serve. Adults are $16 each, children 6-12 are $3, and under 6 are free. Tickets are available by calling the track office at 419-727-1100. A rain date of Friday, August 24 has been set if needed.
Race time for both August 10 and August 17 is 7:30 p.m.
