WILDER, GRAHL TOLEDO STREET DRAG WINNERS

Toledo, Ohio—July 11, 2018: Richard Wilder powered his Chevy SS Impala and Michael Grahl piloted his Ford Edge to wins in the Street Drags Wednesday evening at Toledo Speedway. The track is attempting to grow this style of racing, using a 300 foot strip down the front straight. The victors received their trophies in the Monroe Asphalt Winner’s Circle.

While just 6 entrants competed Wednesday, the track will continue to support the concept. The final event for 2018 at the track for the Street Drags is Friday night, August 3. The events are already being planned again for the 2019 season.

Wilder, a Toledo resident, topped Justin Trembach and Cameron Smithers in the car category, while Grahl defeated Alex Johnson and Kyle Spinale in the Truck class. Wilder then beat Grahl to the finish line in the final between the 2 classes.

The August 3 Street Drag event will see registration beginning at 5:30, practice runs are slated for 6:15 with racing to follow at 7:30 p.m.
