KIDS NIGHT, WINGED SPRINTS, MODS INVADE TOLEDO FRIDAY, JUNE 15
Toledo, Ohio—June 12, 2018: All American Coach, Hemelgarn Racing and Super Fitness will sponsor Friday’s night Kids Night promotion at Toledo Speedway. The Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper Winged Super Sprints will headline the June 15 race program for their one and only appearance of 2018 at the track. The ICAR All-Star Modified Series and Toledo’s ARCA Factory Stocks will also be in action. Race time is 7:30 p.m.
All kids to age 12 will be admitted FREE this Friday and receive a FREE hot dog, courtesy of Toledo Speedway. Parents should pick up the kids tickets at the ticket windows upon arrival to the track on race night.
There is no advance ticket sale for this event. All seating is general admission and tickets can only be purchased at the track when the tickets go on sale at 5 p.m. race day.
The Pepsi Race into Summer Giveaways will also be a part of the festivities Friday evening.
Perhaps the most exciting time trial session of the year happens as the Sprint Cars hit the track. Kyle Edwards thrilled the crowd as he sailed to a new 1 lap mark at an incredible 12:142 last year.
Local favorite Jimmy McCune and Bobby Santos captured the Sprint Car wins at Toledo in 2017, while Brian Nester won the Modified race at the fast ½ mile paved oval.
Practice begins at 5 p.m. The Friday, June 15 qualifying session is at 6:30 and racing begins at 7:30 p.m. The front gates and ticket office will also open at 5 p.m.
Friday’s race card marks the first of 4 consecutive Friday night events at the track.
