TOLEDO SPEEDWAY’S NIGHT OF DESTRUCTION WASHED OUT; RE-SET FOR JUNE 22

TOLEDO SPEEDWAY’S NIGHT OF DESTRUCTION WASHED OUT; RE-SET FOR JUNE 22

Toledo, Ohio-June 1, 2018: A heavy rain cell engulfed Toledo Speedway about 15 minutes before race time and continued for over an hour, forcing the postponement of the Monroe Superstore/Great Clips Night of Destruction Friday evening. The event will be run in its entirety Friday evening, June 22.

With the prospect of not being able to start the program until 10 p.m. at best, the decision was made to postpone the event.

All ticket stubs will be honored June 22. Fans that cannot make it back to the event may request a refund by mail. Please include your ticket stubs and return address. If tickets were paid by credit card, please include your credit card receipt with the ticket stubs and address.

The souvenir programs and 50/50 tickets sold Friday will be included in drawings held June 22. Additional programs and tickets will be available that night.

Toledo’s next race is Friday, June 15. The fastest race cars on the planet return to the Glass City oval for the All American Coach/Hemelgarn Racing/Super Fitness Night. The open-wheel winged Sprint Cars of the Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper Super Sprint Series will make their annual appearance and will be joined by the ICAR All-Star Modified Tour. The ARCA Factory Stocks will also be in action. Race time is 7:30 p.m.
