TOLEDO, Ohio (May 19, 2018) -- The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards home game is here, and the gates are wide open at Toledo Speedway for the 77th running of the Menards 200 presented by Federated Car Care.
The action starts today, Saturday, May 19 with practice from 12:30 - 2 p.m., followed by General Tire Pole Qualifying at 4. Just for kicks, there'll be a 50-lap ARCA Sportsman late model feature at 3, in between practice and qualifying for the ARCA Racing Series.
Defending race winner Harrison Burton is in the house as is his father Jeff Burton, a veteran of the NASCAR Cup Series and now a color analyst for NBC Sports. Burton picked up some local sponsorship from Sports Force Parks at the nearby Cedar Point Sports Center in Sandusky, Ohio. Both father and son made a special appearance last night at the park.
An on-track autograph session with the stars and cars of ARCA get things going Sunday afternoon from noon to 1. Pre-race ceremonies for the Menards 200 presented by Federated Car Care get underway at 1:30 Sunday afternoon, May 20. The Menards 200 is live on MAVTV at 2 p.m. Eastern.
