Discounted tickets on sale now at Northwest Ohio area Menards for Menards 200 at Toledo

TOLEDO, Ohio (April 17, 2018) – Discounted tickets for the 77th running of the Menards 200 presented by Federated Car Care at Toledo Speedway coming May 20 are now on sale at six Menards stores in northwest Ohio. The tickets are on sale for the special price of $15 between now and Saturday, May 19 if purchased at Menards. 

The Menards stores selling the discounted tickets include Defiance, Findlay, Holland, Oregon, Sandusky and Toledo, Ohio. Children under 6 are free. 

Fans will have the opportunity to meet ARCA Racing Series drivers at the Holland Menards off Airport Highway from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 18. The Menards show cars will also appear at the Holland store from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday. The show cars will then be at Toledo Speedway from 1 to 5 p.m. both Saturday, May 19 and Sunday, May 20, the day of the race. 

Among the drivers expected to race in the Menards 200 are Natalie Decker, Christian Eckes and Chandler Smith (Venturini Motorsports); Zane Smith, Sheldon Creed and Chase Purdy (MDM Motorsports); Riley Herbst (Joe Gibbs Racing); Joe Graf, Jr. (Chad Bryant Racing); Brandon Grosso (Ken Schrader Racing); Thad Moffitt (Empire Racing); Thomas Praytor (Max Force Racing); Brad Smith (James Hylton Motorsports); Mike Basham (Darrell Basham Racing); Travis Braden (RFMS Racing); Bret Holmes (Bret Holmes Racing); Gus Dean (Win-Tron Racing); Mason Mitchell Motorsports, and several more. 

Toledo Speedway is the home track for the ARCA Racing Series. ARCA is in its 66th consecutive season of competition. 

Six-time ARCA champion Iggy Katona won the inaugural ARCA race at Toledo in 1963. The ARCA winners list at Toledo reads like a who's-who of big names such as Jack Bowsher, Benny Parsons, Joy Fair, Bill Venturini, Bob Keselowski, Frank Kimmel, Ken Schrader, Michael McDowell, Justin Allgaier, Parker Kligerman, Chris Buescher, Ty Dillon, Todd Gilliland, and last year's winner Harrison Burton. 

The race at Toledo will be the fifth race of the 2018 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards season, and marks the third among the 11 races that make up the Sioux Chief Short Track Challenge. 

Weekend Schedule
The Menards 200 spreads out over two days with ARCA Racing Series practice scheduled from 12:30 - 2 p.m. Saturday, May 19, followed by General Tire Pole Qualifying at 4. The ARCA-sanctioned Aramark Sportsman cars will conclude the festivities Saturday with a feature event race. Pre-race ceremonies for the Menards 200 presented by Federated Car Care get under way at 1:30 Sunday afternoon, May 20. The Menards 200 is live on MAVTV at 2 p.m. Eastern Sunday afternoon.
