Natalie Decker featured guest at annual Press Conference at Hollywood Casino

TOLEDO, Ohio (March 20, 2018) -- The media came out in full force Tuesday afternoon to meet ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards driver Natalie Decker, the featured guest at the annual ARCA Press Conference at Hollywood Casino in downtown Toledo.

After visiting the ARCA home office in Temperance, Mich., Decker made her way to Hollywood Casino and participated in a question and answer session on stage with ARCA's Communications guy Don Radebaugh. Her audience was impressive and included the Toledo Blade, WTOL-11 CBS, WUPW-FOX 36, WTVG-13 ABC, the Buckeye Cable Sports Network (BCSN), the Monroe Evening News and more. Several participating sponsors and marketing partners with Toledo and Flat Rock Speedways were also in the crowd.

Following the Presser, Decker sat down with the media, one on one, before she re-visited the ARCA office en route to Detroit Metro Airport for her return trip to Charlotte.

Toledo-Flat Rock General Manager Scott Schultz led the Presser with several key announcements regarding the 2018 seasons at ARCA's local tracks, Toledo and Flat Rock Speedways.

He began with an announcement regarding the return of division sponsors: Moran Chevrolet, DTS, Aramark, R&M Silver Cup, Monroe Evening News and Victory Lane Quick Oil Change.

Other big news items included the announcement that Menards is returning as title sponsor of the Menards 200 coming to Toledo May 20. It's the 10th straight year that Menards has sponsored ARCA's national tour at Toledo.

Schultz also announced that a new Bandolero class for kids will be added to Flat Rock's line-up of racing in 2018.

The 66th consecutive season at Flat Rock kicks off April 28.

Big events coming to the "Rock" include two Super Late Model Gold Cup events -- the Diamond Racing Products Joy Fair Memorial May 26 and the Moran Chevrolet Stan Yee Memorial July 21. The Level Pebble 200 is also on tap June 23. Schultz also announced a pair of the popular School Bus Figure-8 races presented by Lakeshore Utility Trailer and Dani's Transport coming June 9 and Sept. 1, both at Flat Rock.

Announcements were also loaded up on the Toledo side including the new addition of Street Drags over three Friday nights with some Drifting events on Sundays.

The Toledo season kicks off with the Cometic Gasket 200 presented by PNC Bank April 14.

Other big shows at Toledo are the Hemelgarn Racing/Super Fitness Rollie Beale Classic USAC Silver Crown event May 4 and the All American Coach, Hemelgarn, Super Fitness Night featuring the Auto Value Super Sprints and ICAR All Star Modifieds June 15. The Miller Lite 150 by Marco's Pizza ARCA Gold Cup cars are also coming June 29. Two Nights of Destruction are in the cards featuring School Bus Figure-8s, one presented by Monroe Superstore and Great Clips June 1 and the other by PlayZone-Toledo/Lakeshore Utility Trailer Aug. 17.

Toledo's 30th running of the Central Transport Glass City 200 presented by Courtyard Marriott, Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn Express, a signature event at the track, is coming Sept. 15.

The season finale at Toledo is the Traxxas Monster Truck Show Sat., Sept. 29.

Schultz also announced that BCSN will return to broadcast 6 events at Toledo and 4 at Flat Rock.
