BANDOLERO OPEN HOUSE AT SPARTAN SATURDAY; PRE-SEASON BEGINS!

Flat Rock, MI—February 28, 2018: The pre-season begins full-speed this weekend when Flat Rock Speedway takes part in an open house for the Bandolero division at the Spartan, MI Speedway Saturday, March 3. Flat Rock will begin racing the Bandolero class this year.

A total of eight (8) events are scheduled at Flat Rock for the upcoming season. The speedway is working with Spartan to introduce this class of cars for ages 8-14.

Spartan, the home of Bandoleros for the State of Michigan, located on Cedar Street off of U.S. 127 near Lansing, MI, will hold the open house for any current or prospective Bandolero teams Saturday, March 3. Spartan and Flat Rock staff will be on hand to answer questions. Tours of the showroom and parts area will be available, and a group of new cars and several used cars will be on display. There are several used Bandolero cars for sale, and these teams are also invited to display their cars. The open house will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Spartan track.

FLAT ROCK, TOLEDO PRE-SEASON NEWS AND NOTES

Flat Rock and Toledo management will be busy almost every weekend leading up to the season openers April 14 (Toledo) and April 28 (Flat Rock).

March 10-11 the track will staff a booth at the annual Bedford Business Association Trade Fair, held at the Bedford, MI High School. The track’s new Bandolero car will also be on display.

The following Saturday, March 17 is a big day at the Toledo Speedway Bar and Grille. The annual Racer’s Reunion will be held from Noon to 5, the Michigan Auto Racing Fan Club meeting is at 6 p.m. and from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. an informational meeting for the all-new Street Drag program at Toledo will take place. Admission is free for all activities March 17.

March 23-25 the tracks will be at the Professional Remodelers Association (PRO) Home and Garden Show at the SeaGate Center in downtown Toledo, where the Bandolero house car will make another appearance.

Flat Rock will host an Equipment Auction, which also includes Race Cars and Parts, for the first time Saturday, April 7, beginning at 9 a.m. Go to www.rolloandbrad.com for information!

The Flat Rock Speedway pad rental forms are now available on the track’s webpage under forms. The new pocket schedules will be available beginning at the Bedford Trade Fair weekend. The Monroe News Enduro Series entry blanks will be ready mid-March.
