ARCA accepting Student Applications for $10,000 UNOH Scholarship

TOLEDO, Ohio (Oct. 27, 2017) - The Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) is currently accepting student applications for the University of Northwestern Ohio Scholarship Fund.  

$10,000 in scholarship funding from the University of Northwestern Ohio is up for grabs for ARCA members and immediate family members, and applicants have until Saturday, November 15 to enter the competitive application process. 

Located in Lima, the University of Northwestern Ohio is the official and exclusive educational university partner of the ARCA Racing Series. The annual scholarship fund of $10,000 will be distributed to a qualified individual or split between a group of recipients, at the university's discretion. 

The scholarship will be announced and/or presented Saturday, December 9, at the ARCA Racing Series Championship Awards Banquet at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis. 

To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must be an ARCA Member or an immediate family member 25 years or younger. Applicants must also possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. The Applicant must send, in writing, their name (along with the name of an immediate family member who is an ARCA Member if the Applicant is not an ARCA Member), address, phone number, and a brief essay of approximately one page describing why the Applicant is deserving of scholarship consideration. 

Essays are to be submitted to ARCA via e-mail at compliance@arcaracing.com, or by US Mail to ARCA, P.O. Box 380, Temperance, MI 48182. 

All applications must be received by ARCA before November 15, 2017. 

The successful applicant will be determined and selected by the University of Northwestern Ohio Admissions Criteria and Scholarship Committee.
