VICTORY LANE QUICK OIL CHANGE RETURNS TO BACK FIGURE 8’S
Flat Rock, MI—February 14, 2017: Flat Rock and Toledo Speedway management is proud to announce the return of Victory Lane Quick Oil Change at the title sponsor of the ARCA Figure 8 division for the 2017 season.
Victory Lane Quick Oil Change, a chain of oil change shops throughout Southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio, have also agreed to sponsor 2 new events this season, both of which are special contests for the “Motor City Madmen” of the Figure 8 class.
The Victory Lane Quick Oil Change Ohio Figure 8 Championship at Toledo Speedway will take place Sunday, May 28, while the Flat Rock event, the Victory Lane Quick Oil Change Michigan Figure 8 Championship is set for Saturday night, June 24. Both events will be 40 lap contests.
The company, with headquarters in Canton, MI will also serve as the sponsor of the track pocket schedules, which will be ready for distribution in late March.
The extremely popular Figure 8’s have been a weekly class at Flat Rock since 1962 and have been part of the Toledo schedule of events since 1965. The Figure 8 division is “pure entertainment”, noted Ron Drager, Owner and Promoter of both tracks. “While these drivers and teams are very serious about their racing and their machines, the entertainment the Victory Lane Quick Oil Change Figure 8’s provide is second to none. We look forward to the new season and our continued relationship with Victory Lane Quick Oil Change.”
Action gets underway at Flat Rock Saturday, April 29 at 7 p.m. for the first event of the season at the ¼ mile asphalt oval. The first ARCA Victory Lane Quick Oil Change Figure 8 event at Toledo is slated for Sunday, May 28. Race time at Toledo will be 7 p.m.
