R & M RECYCLING RETURNS FOR SILVER CUP SERIES; BAZELL FUELS RENEWS

Toledo, Ohio—January 25, 2017: The 3-race “Silver Cup” Series for ARCA’s Late Model Sportsman division will return for the 2017 season and be backed by local businessman Mike Rogers through his R & M Recycling business. The trio of races will see 2 events at Toledo Speedway and a single event at Flat Rock Speedway.

The R & M Recycling Silver Cup races will each be 50 laps. The dates are Saturday, June 24 at Flat Rock; Saturday, July 1 and Friday, August 11, both at Toledo.

A separate point system will be kept for the 3 races, and a bonus point fund has been established, with the Series champion to collect $500. Second place will get $300, $200 will go to the third place finisher, $150 to fourth and $100 to the fifth place driver. Points for these 3 events will also be earned for the 2017 over-all ARCA Late Model Sportsman championship chase.

The R & M Recycling Silver Cup Series contests will also feature a bonus purse structure, lap money at $5 per lap and contingency awards from Bazell Race Fuels/Sunoco Race Fuels (Toledo races) for each of the 50 lap feature events. Several other awards are being sought and will be announced when details have been finalized.

R & M will also continue its sponsorship of School Buses for both “Night of Destruction” events at Toledo in 2017, as well as their association with the Glass City 200.

R & M Recycling has locations in Toledo, OH, Adrian, MI and Monroe, MI.
