1970-Joy Fair Leads Off Toledo Speedway 10th Anniversary Season With Opening Night Win!
Joy Fair started the season off just where he left off the previous season, as the defending track champion edged John Anderson and Bob Senneker in the 25-lap ARCA Late Model feature. Jerry Makara posted a 4th place showing, while Terry Senneker rounded out the top 5.
Fair paced the 27-car field with an 18.16 second clocking on the high banked oval. Bob Senneker edged Fair by a scant two feet for the 4-car dash win. Fair came back to capture the Australian pursuit race in just six laps. Harold Fair and Ted Graves were heat race winners.
