MORAN CHEVROLET, R & M RECYCLING BACK AS DIVISION SPONSORS

(TOLEDO, Ohio - January 21, 2014) - Flat Rock and Toledo Speedway officials are proud to announce the return of a pair of division sponsors for the upcoming 2014 season.  Moran Chevrolet returns for the 8th consecutive year to sponsor the ARCA-Flat Rock Speedway Late Model class, while R & M Recycling returns as the “X” Car class sponsor on the short track at Toledo Speedway.

Pat Moran of Moran Chevrolet has again pledged his support of Flat Rock’s Late Model division for the 2014 season.  The Moran Automotive group consists of the Moran Chevrolet dealerships on Gratiot Avenue in Clinton Township and in Ft. Gratiot, MI.  Moran Chevrolet also serves as a sponsor of the #45 of Frank Jiovani, the 2013 Flat Rock Rookie of the Year in the Late Model class.  The Stan Yee Memorial 150 will also carry sponsorship from Moran again for the new season.

2013 marked the first season for the “X” Car class at Toledo for its Friday night events.  R & M Recycling boss Mike Rogers has agreed to once again back the group for 2014. The class consists of a very limited amount of rules, in addition to safety requirements, allowing for a variety of race cars to compete in the same class.  R & M, with locations in Monroe and Adrian, MI as well as the Toledo yard, has been involved with sponsorship at both Flat Rock and Toledo for five years.  R & M will also sponsor a school bus for both of Toledo’s “Night of Destruction” events in 2014, as well as providing additional support for the track’s signature event, the Glass City 200.
