TOLEDO OPENS 2014 WITH 7-UP 150 FOR ARCA/CRA-ARCA MIDWEST TOUR APRIL 12
(TOLEDO, Ohio - November 14, 2013) - Toledo Speedway will swing open its gates for the 2014 racing season with the 7-Up 150 for the stock-bodied ARCA/CRA Super Series Late Models and the ARCA Midwest Tour Late Models. The 2 groups will once again combine forces to compete in this 150 lap contest on the ½ mile paved oval Saturday afternoon, April 12.
An open practice session will be held Friday, April 11. The race will take place 1 week earlier than the 2013 edition, due to the Easter holiday falling on April 20 in 2014. Race time will be at 3 p.m. on the 12th. A rain date of Sunday, April 13 at 1 p.m. has been established. The entire time schedule for the weekend and additional details will be announced at a later date.
Toledo’s weekly Friday night race cards will begin May 9.at 7:30 p.m. The ARCA Sportsman, Figure 8’s and X Cars will hit the track for the first time in 2014.
FLAT ROCK KICKS OFF NEW SEASON APRIL 26
Flat Rock Speedway will begin its 61st consecutive season of racing Saturday evening, April 26. The ARCA Late Models, Figure 8’s and Street Stocks are on the race card for the first race of 2014 at the ¼ mile paved oval. Race time is 7 p.m.
Work continues on finalizing both schedules for the upcoming season. They are expected to be released around the first week of January or sooner.
