Toledo/Flat Rock Race Director/High School teacher Sanderson honored by Siena Heights Univ.

(TOLEDO, Ohio - October 31, 2013) - Toledo/Flat Rock Speedways Race Director Jason Sanderson was honored recently by his alma mater, Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan.

Sanderson, who is also the Art Department Director at Bedford High School in Temperance, Michigan, and a 1992 graduate of Siena Heights, was presented the Outstanding Alumni Award.

Sanderson has mentored dozens of young artists over the years, empowering his students with extraordinary art experience in and out of school, including a year-round life drawing group and the opportunity to work in a professional art studio.

The Honorary Alumni Award recognizes alumni and non-alumni of Siena Heights who demonstrate exceptional commitment to and support for the mission and spirit of the university.

In addition to serving as Race Director at Toledo and Flat Rock Speedways, Sanderson is involved in many facets of the racetracks' management team to include technical inspection of the racecars, maintenance of speedway grounds and general carpentry duties as necessary.
