FLAT ROCK READY FOR JOY FAIR-STAN YEE MEMORIAL SATURDAY
Saturday, August 10 is the date for the rescheduled Joy Fair Memorial-Stan Yee Memorial 150, sponsored by Moran Chevrolet and Diamond Racing Products. The ARCA Glass City Gold Cup Late Model Series race will go 150 all-green flag laps for the biggest race of the season at the track. The ARCA ACME Dismantling Sportsman division will make its second visit to Flat Rock and compete in a 50 lap feature, while the Parts Galore Figure 8 division will stage a 20 lap feature on the Figure 8 track.
The pit area opens at 1, practice begins at 3, the front gates open at 3, time trials are set for 5 and racing begins at 7 p.m. The track phone number is 734-782-2480. Flat Rock Speedway is located on Telegraph Road, 5 minutes from I-75 or I-275.
The probable entry list and lap money sponsorship list can be found at www.flatrockspeedway.com. The lap money is sold out, and will be combined from both events to pay $10 per lap, in addition to several laps that carry additional bonus money.
