FIREWORKS ARE ON AT TOLEDO JULY 5!!!
Toledo, Ohio—June 26, 2013: Toledo Speedway management is proud to announce the addition of a FIREWORKS display to its “Red, White and Blue” Festival Friday, July 5 race card at the Benore Road track.
The speedway is also inviting any and all active and retired police, fire, military and EMT personnel to be a guest of the track for the July 5 event. Admission will be FREE for these outstanding men and women for this race. Please show your ID at the ticket windows upon arrival to the speedway.
There’s a variety of races and family fun planned at Toledo Speedway Friday night! Free bus rides around the track in the New Glass Bowl Lanes buses will begin at approximately 7 p.m.
On the track, the ARCA ACME Dismantling Sportsman will battle wheel to wheel on the big ½ mile paved oval, with the ARCA R & M Recycling X Cars banging fenders on the short track.
To top off the action prior to the fireworks display, a Boat Figure 8 race is on the schedule! Yes, race cars towing boats on trailers through the intersection of the Figure 8 course, with the object to knock the boat and trailer off your competitor’s machine!
The evening concludes with a fantastic fireworks display, with superb viewing of the pyrotechnical extravaganza from any seat in the Toledo Speedway grandstands!
Admission is just $12 per adult, children 6-12 are $3 and under 6 are free. No outside beverages are permitted. General admission seating is in effect for the July 5 event. Parking is FREE on the speedway grounds.
Concession prices range from $1 to $3.50. Happy hour at the Speedway Saloon is from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m, featuring a 16 ounce draft for just $3 each.
The pit area will open at 3:30, practice begins at 5 and the front gates will also open at 5.
