KIDS FREE THIS WEEKEND AT BOTH FLAT ROCK AND TOLEDO; STREET STOCKS TO GO 100 LAPS AT FLAT ROCK

(FLAT ROCK, MI - June 5, 2013) - While every race night is a great night of fun, affordable entertainment at both Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways, this weekend’s events are perhaps the best deal for families!  Both speedways will host Kids Night, with all kids to age 14 admitted FREE and each kid will receive a FREE hot dog, chips and a drink, courtesy of Sherwood Foods, Jim’s Butcher Shop of Flat Rock, Herr’s Potato Chips, the Dr. Pepper/Snapple Group and Schwebel’s Baking Company. 

Parents should pick up the kid’s ticket/food voucher at the ticket window upon arrival to the track race day.

The Friday, June 7 show at Toledo is sponsored by the New Glass Bowl Lanes.  The ARCA ACME Dismantling Sportsman, R & M Recycling X Cars and a visit from the Great Lakes Mini Cup Cars will make up Friday’s race card.  The track will also host Racing Fan Club Night.

The pit area opens at 3:30, the front gates open at 5, practice begins at 5, time trials are set for 6:15 and racing gets the green flag at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, June 8 Flat Rock will present the Corrigan Race Fuels 100 lap feature for the DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stock class to highlight the night of racing!  The Parts Galore Figure 8’s and the Great Lakes Mini Cups will also be in action.  The TKC Go-Karts will stage exhibition races after time trials. 

The pits open at 2:30, practice begins at 4, time trials are at 5:30 and racing begins at 7 p.m.  The front gates will open at 4 p.m.
